Indonesia faces rapidly increasing electricity demand. The Government of Indonesia has set ambitious 2025 targets to achieve a national electrification ratio of 95 percent and to increase the share of renewable energy in the primary energy mix to 23%. In particular the government has set 2025 targets to increase the country’s total installed wind capacity to 970 MW and national solar capacity to 800- 1,000 MW.
